Vivenda
A community e-commerce app that connects local businesses with young people through products, events and stories.
The challenge
Small local businesses struggle to compete with large e-commerce platforms, and many young people do not know what their own neighborhood offers. Vivenda needed to work for both sides: a simple shopping experience for users aged 18-35, and a digital showcase for local shops.
The approach
I followed a design thinking process: empathize, define, ideate and prototype. Quantitative research and a SWOT analysis shaped the scope, and a storyboard described the experience from the user side. Vivenda is B2C first, with location-based discovery, community events and fast checkout. On the B2B side, shops get a showcase, storytelling tools and simple analytics. A Story page lets users meet the people behind each shop.
The outcome
A hybrid B2C and B2B concept with research, wireframes and high-fidelity interfaces. Stories and events give people a reason to choose local, and shopping locally also supports a smaller carbon footprint.
