Tightly
An inventory risk experience that helps merchants find at-risk SKUs, understand why, and act in a few clicks.
The challenge
Tightly's forecast showed that 15 SKUs may stock out in the next 30 days. Some were critical for revenue or customer satisfaction, others mattered less. In a 3-day design challenge, I had to design a way for merchants to quickly see which risks matter most, understand why they happen and decide what to do.
The approach
I designed a three-page journey that follows how a merchant thinks. An overview page shows the big picture with five KPIs, three charts and a risk table sorted by severity. A review pop-up explains why one product is at risk and offers AI recommendations with a scenario preview. A reorder page checks the budget and compares the expected arrival date with the stockout date before a purchase order is created.
The outcome
The result is 9 screens in Tightly's own design language, with notes for every key decision, a benchmark and a user journey. It shows how a forecast can turn into a clear decision, not just another alert.
Research, flows and final screens.
